TRANSFER NEWS: Tamale City Snap Up Wilson Kwabena on Two-Year Deal

Tamale City have strengthened their squad in the second transfer window with the signing of midfielder Wilson Kwabena on a two-year contract, as they aim to maintain their push for promotion.

Kwabena joins from Kotoku Royals FC, where he was a standout performer in the 2024/25 Access Bank Division One League.

The move was facilitated by Gw Sports Consult and Trading, under the leadership of CEO George Harry Morgue-Wilson, who oversaw the negotiations and finalization of the deal.

The club’s management believes Wilson Kwabena brings experience, stability, and tactical intelligence to the team for the remainder of the campaign.

The Citizens currently lead the Zone 1A table with 35 points after 15 matches, and Kwabena’s arrival is expected to inject renewed energy as they continue their quest for the Premier League playoffs.

With his proven consistency and ability to control the game, Wilson Kwabena is set to make an immediate impact and play a pivotal role in Tamale City’s midfield in the ongoing season.
