Basake Holy Stars Assistant Coach, Rashad Musah has applauded his players’ commitment and tactical discipline after securing a crucial point against Aduana Stars in Dormaa on Sunday.
Following the hard-fought 0-0 draw at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park on Matchday 13, Coach Rashad expressed satisfaction with how well his side executed the game plan designed for the difficult away fixture.
Speaking during his post-match interview, the assistant coach revealed that the technical team had thoroughly analyzed three of Aduana Stars’ most recent matches. This detailed study, he said, formed the backbone of their tactical approach for the trip.
“We took our time to watch their last three games, and that helped us shape our strategy,” he explained. “Our main objective was simple, we didn’t want to come back empty-handed. The boys stuck to the plan, stayed disciplined, and it worked exactly the way we wanted.”
Despite setting out to secure at least a point, Coach Rashad noted that Basake Holy Stars entered the match with the ambition of taking all three.
“Yes, the minimum target was to pick a point, but the truth is we came here aiming for a win. It was a tough battle, but the players gave everything,” he added.
The draw in Dormaa marks another positive step in Holy Stars’ campaign as they continue to gain traction in the league and set their sights on their next challenge against Regional Neighbors, FC Samartex 1996 at the Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III Sports Arena this weekend.
