The Miners produced a spirited performance in front of their home fans, dominating possession and creating several chances throughout the first half. Their persistence finally paid off in the 42nd minute, when Barimah Baah delivered a precise assist to set up Atta Kumi, who made no mistake with a clinical finish past Chelsea goalkeeper Emmanuel Adu.
