Basake Holy Stars To Play Home Matches At The Nsenkyire Sports Arena

Nzema-based Ghana Premier League side, Basake Holy Stars FC, have confirmed the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samreboi as their temporary home grounds for the 2025-26 football season.

This decision comes after their initial plan to use the Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III Sports Arena in Ampain was derailed by an interlocutory injunction by its owners, Nzema Kotoko Football Club and Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III, the embattled Paramount Chief of Eastern Nzema Traditional Council.

Basake Holy Stars will play their matchday 1 home fixture against Techiman Eleven Wonders at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Sunday, September 14. Despite the switch, the “Unbeatable Club” remain focused ahead of the new football campaign.

The club, which finished thirteenth in their maiden season, is aiming to climb higher in the new campaign set to kick-off on Friday, September 12.
