The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ellembelle, Hon. Joseph Kwasi Armah Agyekum, has cut sod for the construction of two new classroom blocks at Bobrama and Atababo, as part of the Assembly’s broader commitment to improving educational infrastructure across the district.

At Bobrama, a 6-unit classroom block will be constructed, while Atababo will benefit from a 3-unit classroom block. Both projects aim to enhance access to quality education, particularly in underserved rural communities.
Modern Facilities to Support Teaching and Learning
In addition to the classroom blocks, each project will include critical ancillary facilities designed to create a supportive and modern learning environment. These include:

A fully furnished staff common room
A headteacher’s office
An ICT center with two computers and appropriate furniture
A 6-seater water closet toilet facility
A borehole to provide clean and safe drinking water
These additions are expected to significantly boost the teaching and learning experience for both students and staff.
DCE Reaffirms Commitment to Education
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremonies, Hon. Agyekum emphasized the Assembly’s dedication to closing the infrastructure gap in education.

“The future of our district depends on the quality of education we provide today. These projects demonstrate our unwavering commitment to investing in the next generation,” he stated.
Community Support and Appreciation
Community leaders and residents from both Bobrama and Atababo expressed deep appreciation for the projects. They pledged their full support to ensure the successful completion and long-term maintenance of the facilities.
The new classroom blocks are expected to reduce overcrowding, improve academic performance, and offer a safer, more conducive environment for effective teaching and learning.
