His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama has taken a major step in preparing for its governance agenda by appointing the final group of Deputy Ministers to round out his government’s ministerial team.
The newly appointed deputies include:
- Hon. Dorcas Toffey MP – Deputy Minister for Transport
- Hon. James Gyakye Quayson MP – Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs
- Hon. Mohammed A. Sukparu MP – Deputy Communications Minister (Designate)
- Hon. Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah MP – Deputy Minister for Health (Designate)
After weeks of waiting, the President finally appoints his team to spearhead important health, communications, foreign policy, and transportation issues.
It is anticipated that renowned lawmaker Hon. Dorcas Toffey will contribute her experience to the Transport Ministry, while Hon. James Gyakye Quayson, who made headlines during the previous Parliament, will play a crucial role in Foreign Affairs. Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah, a distinguished physician, will support the Health Ministry’s endeavors in healthcare delivery, while Hon. Mohammed Sukparu will assist the Communications Ministry.
