FC Samartex 1996 have officially confirmed the signing of prolific striker, Osman Zakari from Northern City FC.
The young attacker joins the Timber Giants on a deal till 2028.
Zakari’s arrival is expected to bolster Samartex’s attacking department as they push stronger in the 2025/26 Ghana Football campaign.
His signing has generated excitement among the Sax fraternity, given his impressive performance in the 2024/25 Access Bank Division One League season.
Zakari was the topscorer in Zone 1A, scoring 21 goals with 5 assists, he also notched 2 goals with an assist in the 2024-25 MTN FA Cup.
His clinical finishing and sharp instinct in front of goal made him one of the standout players in the Ghana’s lower tier league, earning him this well-deserved move to the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League Champions.
Samartex FC are optimistic that his arrival will inject fresh energy into their attack.
