The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the commencement of the registration process for the 2025/2026 service year, with a registration window opening today, June 17, 2025, and closing on July 1, 2025.
This year’s registration introduces several new features aimed at enhancing the transparency and security of the process.

Key Changes to Registration:
- PIN Code Activation
- Prospective service personnel are required to activate their PIN codes by paying a fee of GHS 40 at any ADB Bank branch or GHS 41 via MTN Mobile Money.
- Facial Biometric Verification
- All applicants must complete facial verification against their Ghana Card data held with the National Identification Authority (NIA) before accessing the registration form.
- Verified Address Input
- Applicants must provide a valid Ghana Post GPS address for accurate distance mapping and regional posting decisions.
Military Pre-Deployment Option:
A limited number of graduates from the 2025/2026 cohort will participate in a six-week basic military training pilot program. Interested applicants can indicate their willingness to participate during the online registration process. Final postings will occur after the military orientation, ensuring no participant forfeits their work placement.
How to Register:
Applicants should visit the NSA portal at https://smarthub.nss.gov.gh and follow the instructions to retrieve their PIN codes and complete the required steps. Detailed guidance is available on the portal, and support is available via [email protected] or live chat.
All eligible applicants are advised to complete their registration within the stated period to ensure a smooth enrolment experience.
