Nominees for Basake Holy Stars Player of the Month Announced

Holy II, a Supporters Group of Basake Holy Stars Football Club, based in Aiyinasi has nominated three star performances of the Club for the POTM in January. They played four Matches, an MTN FA Cup and three Ghana Premier League.

The three outstanding players nominated truly made their mark and are deserving of the recognition for their phenomenal contributions on the pitch. The nominees includes; Emmanuel Kwame, Prince Tweneboah and Emmanuel Adjei.

EMMANUEL KWAME

The left-back made four appearances in the month of January, he blends strong defensive abilities with attacking flair. He never shies away from contributing to attack, Kwame often joins offensive play, creating opportunities and adding extra width to Basake Holy Stars’ game.

His impressive display against Bibiani Gold Stars in the MTN FA Cup and his gig against both Aduana Stars and Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League won him the most valuable player (MVP)in those matches. Emmanuel Kwame’s rock-solid defensive qualities, timely tackles, interceptions and leadership at the backline makes him a force to reckon.

PRINCE TWENEBOAH

The 18-year old winger featured in all four games, he always leaves defenders in the dust, his dribbling skills are mesmerizing and always a nightmare for any opponent trying to defend against him.

Tweneboah constantly break lines and create goal-scoring chances with qualities of a top attacker. He’s a true all-rounder who can change the game in the blink of an eye.

EMMANUEL AGYEI

Abanga notched the consolation goal for Basake Holy Stars in their 3-1 defeat to Nations FC at the Dr. Kwame Kyei’s Sports Complex in Abrankese, he was involved in all matches of the month. He is a versatile dude who adds tremendous value to the squad. An engine of the team with lots of passion and commitment.

The winner will be announced on Matchday 20 when Basake Holy Stars host Western Regional rivals Bibiani Gold Stars on Sunday at the Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III Sports Arena in Ampain.
