2025 LONDON UNITY CUP: Black Stars To Play Nigeria’s Super Eagles In London

The Black Stars’ involvement in this year’s four-nation Unity Cup in London has been confirmed.

The Black Stars will join the Super Eagles of Nigeria, the Reggae Boyz of Jamaica and the Soca Warriors of Trinidad and Tobago for the tournament.

Dubbed ‘The Best in the West – the Afro Classico Contest’, the tournament will treat fans to two major derbies in the UK.

In what will be the first ever TriniJam clash in London, Trinidad and Tobago will take on Jamaica on Tuesday, May 27.

That match will be followed by a Ghana-Nigeria clash 24 hours later.

The winners of the two matches will play in the final on Saturday, May 31 with the losers also playing for Bronze.

Nigeria are two-time winners of the Unity Cup but suffered a 4-1 humiliation to Ghana in the last meeting of the two sides in the tournament.
