Former Nations FC midfielder Sadiq Alhassan visited the club’s camp today to motivate the players ahead of their crucial Ghana Premier League game against Karela United.
Alhassan joined the club’s president in encouraging the squad as Nations FC prepare for a decisive encounter in their fight to avoid relegation.
The Abrankese-based side suffered a 1-0 defeat to Vision FC at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Week 33, a result that has increased pressure on the team heading into the penultimate match of the season.
With their Premier League status under threat, Nations FC are targeting a positive result against Karela United to boost their survival hopes before the final round of fixtures.
Alhassan, who previously featured for both Nations FC and Karela United, urged the players to stay focused and give their maximum effort despite the setback against Vision FC.
